About the Project

Out on the Shelf is a library and community space, advocating for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities through programming, outreach and education.

The Transcendence Project is an organizational initiative, aiming to develop and deliver educational workshops and resources to service providers and community members, across Guelph and Wellington County. This project is funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE).

01. Calling all Service Providers: Help Shape 2SLGBTQIA+ Education & Resources in Guelph-Wellington

Project Goals: Engage local community in project initiatives through a needs assessment survey. Identify opportunities for collaboration with service providers and organizations.

04. Cultivating Belonging: Affirming Spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ Workers

Project Goal: Create organizational awareness with the Guelph Labour Council and key members within the labour movement, by connecting 2SLGBTQIA+ rights to labour rights.

Services Provided: Research | Copywriting | Graphic Design | Content Strategy

The final outcome was a print brochure, distributed to members.
